In the Philippines, shopping is very important. Three of the ten largest shopping malls in the world are located there: SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, and SM Mall of Asia.
The SM North Edsa, which is impressively large at 498,000m2, is the largest mall. That is bigger than the Vatican City, to put it in perspective. The supermall is located in Quezon City, Manila. The sky garden, simulated river, and movie complex are worth seeing even if you don't consider yourself a shopaholic.
